Artist Talk: Chris Welsby - IT'S ALL ABOUT THE RIVER

Join Canadian based artist, Chris Welsby, for an evening exploring his work and process, which take inspiration from the watery bodies of river and sea. Introduced by Liz Wells, Professor of Photographic Culture at Plymouth University, the event will feature short clips from previous installations and full length presentations of Chris’ work, as well as a Q&A session.

A looped installation of Chris Welsby’s work will be available to view from 1 – 6pm at Ashtorre Rock, free entry.

Venue Information

During the day, visit the Ashtorre Rock cafe for a range of refreshments. For the evening talk, you are invited to bring your own bottle for a quiet drink.
